Encouraging MathLearning at Home:A Guide for Parents
This resource will suggest opportunities for parents to contribute meaningfully to their child’s learning. The learning opportunity suggestions in this guide will help parents and children build mathematically rich environments in their home and through their everyday activities. The activities are consistent
with the expectations in the Ontario mathematics curriculum and are distributed among the five strands of mathematics: Number Sense and Numeration; Measurement; Geometry and Spatial Sense; Patterning and Algebra; and Data Management and Probability.
