Family Learning: The Inquiry into Family Learning in England and Wales (2013)

An extensive inquiry into the evidence and practice of family learning in England and Wales and its benefits for children’s literacy,numeracy and later school attainment. It recommends that Family learning be an essential element of adult learning and skills strategies to engage those furthest from the labour market and improve employability,especially through family English and maths provision.
